Listen & Read

We are often looking for books to read, podcasts to listen to, sermons to engage with and new music.

Hopefully these lists and links will give you some faithful content to check out, raise some thoughts you haven't considered and challenge your faith to grow.

We aim to update and add to these regularly.

If you have any recommendations, please DM us on Instagram.

Books

We cannot recommend the books on this list more! They range from theology, to apologetics, to autobiographies. We've read them and would read them a thousand times over. Remember that these are all fallible human writers and anything we learn should always be submitted to the authority of Scripture. The words in these books are good, but they are not ultimate. They can encourage your faith, but not sustain it. Nevertheless, they will challenge you in the best way possible.

Sermons

There is nothing quite like sitting under authoritative teaching. It stirs your faith, challenges your view of the Lord, opens your eyes to your sinfulness, grows your knowledge of Scripture and should always lead to worship. We want teaching to be based on Scripture and not merely the extra-biblical revelation of pastors/preachers.

Podcasts and Worship playlists

Podcasts can have a wide range of "genres". Here we suggest the ones we've enjoyed most.

Worship is such an integral part of our faith, and our doxology (our worship) should always be in line with our theology. The playlist are categorized in a way that reflects this. The hymns and the psalms are the playlists we recommend for times of worship. The others are great for car rides and background music. When listening to worship music, we encourage you to really think about the words you are singing. Are they a true representation of the gospel? Do they make much of our triune God? Who are you worshipping; yourself or the Lord?
